This is a superior copy, very clean with good color.

Gray’s New Map of Texas and the Indian Territory are taken from The National Atlas. It shows Texas near the end of Reconstruction period following the Civil War. It includes seven inset maps that document the rivers of Texas, it's topography, the entrances to Galveston Bay and to Matagorda Bay, a map of Austin, and a map of the southern tip of Texas. Each county is colored and the Indian Territory is colored by Indian Tribe reservation.

The railroad system of the growing state is fully documented.
