A lithographed map, with hand colored outlines Size: 25 inches X 19-1/8 inches; Scale: 1 inch = approximately33 miles. Map Type: Atlas This is a superior copy, very clean with strong colors. Framed in a dark brown and gold 2 inch frame with fileted mat. Outside dimensions are 35-1/2 inches X 29-1/2 inches. This is one of the most detailed maps made of Texas in this period and includes towns, battle sites, forts, camps, exploratory routes, railroads, trails, and topograpical features such as rivers and creeks. This is an outstanding map of late 19th century Texas.
