Louis Brion de la Tour (1756-1823) was the Royal Cartographer for Frances' King Louis XV. This map was taken from his deluxe version of Atlas Generale, Civil et Ecclesiastique, Methodique et Elementaire pour l'etude de la geographie et de l'historie.
