This is a superior copy with strong engraving

This is a very rare and very early map of Texas by an unknown map maker. It was lithographed by Baker & Wall in New York, and included in the book History of the Revolution in Texas . by Chester Newell. It depicts Louisiana and Texas as far west as the caprock. Several early settlements are identified along with the few roads that existed at the time.
